About Mill Creek Resort

Mill Creek Resort is located just 15 minutes from the Southwest entrance to Lassen Volcanic National Park in Northern California, about halfway between Red Bluff and Susanville. It’s an off-the-beaten-path mountain resort home to a historic lodge, nine vintage cabins, and a campground.  Sitting at almost 5,000’ elevation, Mill Creek is tucked into the heart of Lassen National Forest, where towering cedar and fir trees dominate the skyline.

Jillian and her partner’s wildest dreams came true in 2017 when they became fortunate enough to call these 12 wooded acres home.

Jillian and Joe take great pride and responsibility in honoring the rich history of this iconic 1930s resort. Building upon the vision and hard work of past caretakers, they’re pouring fresh energy into creating a space for the next generation of mountain adventurers.

Their mission is to cultivate connections on which we all thrive. Connections with guests, families, staff, the Mill Creek community, and most importantly, the land.

They're driven by their love of nature and all things outdoors. It’s their passion to share this land and encourage everyone to get outside, get dirty, and find their wild. Lassen boasts an abundance of blow-your-mind wild beauty that is just waiting to be discovered.

InnerShine began as just a twinkle in Jillian’s eye years ago when she envisioned holding a women’s retreat at her beautiful mountain resort. As the years passed, her dream grew bigger until the time was right to give birth to this collective.
